Capcom dates some downloadable games in development
Capcom announced ballpark dates and prices to go with some of the downloadable titles they plan to offer on Xbox Live Arcade, PSN and PC in the next half-year. The details were given in London, so to ere on the side of caution, we're going to call these Euro details until further notice -- we doubt that's the truth, but a little caution never hurts. The games are:
- Rocketmen: Axis of Evil -- Holiday '07 (XBLA 800 MS Points ($10), PSN $10)
- Commando 3 -- December '07 (XBLA 800 MS Points ($10), PSN $10)
- Talisman -- April '08
- Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix -- Q1 '08, but actually "when it's ready."

Thanks...it's about time, they slapped a date on SFHD.
They started talking about it way too soon.
Now it's Spring08....yikes! Oh well, back to my SF Collection for PS2 on my PS3 with full BC.

so these are coming out even earlier in the states? haha

Talisman ftw! If there aren't any decent classic board games on XBLA (the Battle Chess collection would be awesome), bring us modern board games. Carcassonne, Catan, now Talisman ...
And no, the Spyglass collection isn't decent.

Beer Talisman is sweet.
kennethrios @ Oct 19th 2007 1:39PM

Talisman, sweet. Mm version looks a bit dated against that screen shot. Man, did I shop around for that City expansion.
rinks @ Oct 19th 2007 2:03PM
Man, I haven't seen the Talisman box in a while. What a great board game.

At last a vague release date for Talisman! Out of all the upcomming games for xbla this is the one i want the most! Now how about they do Man O' War, and Space Hulk (not as an fps)!
Kenban @ Oct 19th 2007 2:19PM
It amazes me no one has tried to update some old good RPG's such as the original Bard's Tale. I think that those games would be perfect in the arcade.
T3H WICKERMAN (FDF) @ Oct 19th 2007 3:37PM
we are talking about board game conversions on this thread not rpgs on the pc. Though I do agree that bards tale and the early elder scrolls should be no brainers for xbla.(star control 2 as well)

Street Fighter 2? Again?
Dear Capcom: Please stop wasting your time re-releasing re-hashes of games which you have bested in every way shape and form. In other words, Street Fighter 3: Third Strike Please!

Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo HD Remix?
That's already on PSN (in the US, at least). I've had it for weeks. So I'm assuming that was in reference to Europe.
32_Footsteps @ Oct 19th 2007 3:46PM
Talisman? *That* Talisman? They've gotten around all the legal hurdles and are releasing it on Xbox Live Arcade? And it's dated for next year?
Dibs on the Chaos Warrior!

"When it's ready"? Wasn't Duke Nukem Forever the last game to say that?
NvM @ Oct 19th 2007 5:11PM
No Wii Ware...
Blast Processing Megadrive @ Oct 19th 2007 5:15PM
For a second there, I thought it said "Rockman," and was excited with the prospect of a new Megaman game (say what you will about the amount of games in the franchise, at least most of them are still fun). :(

What is up with Capcom having all of this shit happening lately
alex3305 @ Oct 21st 2007 3:02PM
Hmm, I am still waiting for Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo HD Remix for PC... While the PSN and XBLA are already released (in the US) the PC version is lost in space or something?!
