Overlord summoning trio of DLC in Nov.
Overlord will unleash three downloadable content packs on Xbox Live this November. One pack is free and enables players to experience the game in a multiplayer split-screen mode; a new co-op map will also be included challenging two Overlords to work together in surviving "the onslaught of an arch rock giant on the rampage." The other two packs will cost you, but at this point neither have a price. One will offer five new levels for the single player campaign and the other offers a "legendary" difficulty level and multiplayer maps. None of the packs have an exact release date.
PC versions of these packs will be available early next year, and the German version of Overlord will include all the new content in a special edition. We do hope Overlord gets a sequel; there's nothing really "wrong" with the game compared to less worthy games we've seen getting sequels.

Overlord's fantastic, it was simply overshadowed by The Darkness (lol pun) since they shared a release date. Still, it was a slow summer, it should have gotten more love than it did.

for me, this game was the surprise of the year. i was stunned at how polished this game looked and played considering how 'under the radar' this game flew.
this could be a franchise for Codemasters if they're willing to put just a little more muscle behind it. the fact that we're seeing DLC now is good news.

I played it, I loved it, my little brother deleted my save, so I just stopped playing it.
Sadly, I just returned it too.

Ive had this game at my house since July 7 from Gamefly, and have yet to send it back.
It is the sleeper hit of the year in my book, and it well should deserve a sequel.
Hopefully these new DLC will add more achievements aswell. If so, i think its about time i actually bought it. :)

One of the best games of '07 without a doubt. Can't wait to try the Hell Raiser levels with the new minions, looks very, very interesting.
I really hope this gets a sequel, because too much good games that deserve one, don't. Like Metal Arms.
Heres hoping they don't make one in a Fable 2 fashion however. "When you die, your minions start throwing their own poop at you, making you smell very unpleasant, and all the peastants try to set you on fire as you walk by, killing you again, and getting you covered with more feces."
Okay, that may actually be pretty entertaining for a few times...
