dear momma can you hear me laughin?
velocitystrike @ Nov 9th 2007 4:55AM
I've gotta say, it doesn't look that impressive really. After having played TDU and Revenge recently, I'm not completely convinced.
Ah well, I've not played it yet - that might change everything =]

I'm impressed apart from the bus that pops up on the road near the start of the video. Just as the guy says "from the sun splashed beaches of big surf" and there is a ferris wheel type thing in the shot. There's no place for stuff popping up in this day and age. FOR SHAME!!!

Anyone else notice the EA|HD sign at the end of the bill board? That looks siiiiiiiccccckkkkkk
Lmda @ Nov 9th 2007 7:22AM
I'm really looking forward to this and I like the fact that there is no loading. For far, no complaints from me.
HectorTheValiant @ Nov 9th 2007 7:33AM
I was really impressed by the demo.
Very excited for this game. It looks like it has a Crazy Taxi feel to it mixed with the whole free roaming stuff and I love that.
Graphics aren't everything but this does look graphically superior to previous games IMO.
HectorTheValiant @ Nov 9th 2007 7:45AM
Lol I mean the trailer...
Billy @ Nov 9th 2007 11:01AM
I was gonna say, where the hell did you get a demo?? :)
Obie @ Nov 9th 2007 8:10AM
I normally hate racing games, but I love the Burnout series. I guess the level of destruction and encouraging road rage helps a lot. ;)
Exo @ Nov 9th 2007 8:17AM
Wow congrats They took everything that was unique about it and just made it into another EA racer
Phillip @ Nov 9th 2007 8:32AM
*drool*
Pureshooter @ Nov 9th 2007 8:38AM
They need to do a sequel to Black.
GRANTED @ Nov 9th 2007 9:53AM
that cover art is the best i've seen...
FidliousWong @ Nov 9th 2007 10:25AM
EA: How would you guys like to make Midnight Club 4?
Criterion: We'd love it!
*high fives*
Synner @ Nov 9th 2007 10:39AM
Were those licensed cars I saw in the trailer?
why not the LS2LS7? @ Nov 9th 2007 11:31AM
No. There are no "real" cars in Burnout.
There are 3 other trailers talking about 3 of the models of cars in the game, all of which are fictional.
Me, I wanna drive that El Camino-alike.
I hope the in-game looks anything like these movies.
I'll miss crash mode.
Billy @ Nov 9th 2007 11:01AM
God damn I can't wait for this game.
Jim Franks @ Nov 9th 2007 11:26AM
Crash was one of my favorite modes. I'm still not sure I'm going to be picking this up since it is missing that.
peshue @ Nov 9th 2007 11:49AM
No Guns n' Roses? that very disappointing.
Mrfreezie @ Nov 9th 2007 1:08PM
I'll still pick it up, but it really looks like every other burnout game but now with a need for speed-like open world..
GoonieGooGoo @ Nov 9th 2007 3:58PM
Well....it seems that EA learned something from the underrated TEST DRIVE UNLIMITED.....
I loved that you could just drive in that game all over the place and not be involved in anything in particular.......
Nothing like organizing a pack of 10 cars to just drive up the mountain side to see how far we could go.
Let's hope this game has that sense of fun.
Rob @ Nov 10th 2007 5:41AM
Having me some Burnout 3 flashbacks. Ah, goooood times.....
svenhoek @ Nov 10th 2007 6:46PM
No crash mode makes me weep. Crash was the best mode hands down. Hopefully there will be crash events or something.
