Oh fuck, they have ballroom blitz in this. I officially need to get this game. I didn't care about it until I saw that.
AND THE MAN IN THE BACK SAID,"EVERYONE ATTACK." And it turned into a ballroom blitz.
Donald @ Nov 21st 2007 9:46AM
See if you can find a cheap copy of Guitar Hero Rocks The 80's. It's in there too (well, the Krokus version).
Bearxor @ Nov 20th 2007 3:30PM
It's just going to simply take time. People who play it regularly
will learn all the lyrics. Damn, the games only been out 15 hours,
don't you guys think you're being a little too quick to make this
post?
CountChocula @ Nov 20th 2007 3:30PM
Honest Bob and the Factory-to-Dealer Incentives?!
Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeet.
jrodliebs @ Nov 20th 2007 3:32PM
It's also okay to forget lyrics if you're Ozzy
Neon Jebus @ Nov 20th 2007 3:34PM
...or Ashley Simpson.
Crono (NDF - Knight of the Old School) @ Nov 20th 2007 3:53PM
No, its not ok for Ashley Simpson, as that incident destroyed her music career.
shamowfski @ Nov 20th 2007 4:04PM
@Crono
Music Career?
Lolz.
Vegeta (aka Ska Oreo) @ Nov 20th 2007 3:55PM
hmmmm just wondering, does Harmonix put out uncensored versions of the songs for dl? If they don't, they should. It kinda irks me when I hear a censored version of a song that I like, just doesn't sound right to me.
gonk @ Nov 20th 2007 4:06PM
yeah, like in gh3 they censored out "son of a BITCH" in the devil went down to georga
bitch isn't even a fucking swear word! fucking gayyyyy
Mojo @ Nov 20th 2007 4:07PM
Especially with the parental controls like the xbox has. You'd think that could open some doors.
Vegeta (aka Ska Oreo) @ Nov 20th 2007 4:25PM
That's what I'm thinking, and Harmonix can protect themselves by either offering a clean and uncut version, or just saying that the only way that the uncut songs can be accessed is if people have to pay for it.
Anticrawl @ Nov 20th 2007 4:09PM
Big fan of music from the 70s to mid 90s and I know the lyrics to all these songs, with the exception of the newer songs in the current decade.
baby sea tuna @ Nov 20th 2007 4:15PM
Thanks, Joystiq! Pretty thorough.
Now, "excuse me while I kiss this guy."
Cesaria @ Nov 20th 2007 9:13PM
Lol! I sing that every time, even though I know the real words.
Charron @ Nov 20th 2007 4:16PM
The rest of the bonus tracks:

I've been maintaining a list like this at Lyriki (same concept as LyricWiki, without ads), also got the announced DLC on there (though a lot are still missing).
Charron @ Nov 20th 2007 4:16PM
(and by 'rest', I mean, the rest of them that I have >_> )
umm....hello??? @ Nov 20th 2007 4:55PM
Joystiq is awesome. Yeah, the words are there but sometimes hard to see--even on my 60" HDTV--and when they break the words up into syllables. Now if only I were more familiar with some of the songs to begin with (how they're pitched vocally)--I'd be doing Awesome all the time (so far my favorite singing song is Creep).
The only other difficult part is the drumming. Stupid feet. :/
Bill @ Nov 20th 2007 5:21PM
You guys are just asking for a cease-and-desist for linking to all of this content. All of these lyrics are copyright-protected and basically illegal. Just a heads-up warning.
david @ Nov 20th 2007 10:38PM
no, no it is not
Mike @ Nov 20th 2007 5:42PM
This post is awesome, Dan. It's going to make calling your ass out when you flub a line that much sweeter.
Petras @ Nov 20th 2007 6:37PM
Hey, do any of these songs have swearing? Just wondering because chances are I'd be playing the game within earshot of my parents (Just because swearing in front of my parents would feel weird.)
NvM @ Nov 20th 2007 8:25PM
Can you help me?
I can't find my brain.
deathwombat @ Nov 21st 2007 1:40AM
Do you get bonus points for singing the uncensored versions of songs?
JohnHeist @ Nov 21st 2007 10:34AM
I'm a drummer, and I'm considering picking this up...but I know most of the lyrics to most of those songs, I just don't think the singing part would be fun.
Christian @ Nov 21st 2007 12:06PM
I wish I was special. You're so VERY special. I hate crap like that. Kind of like (not that this'd be in Rock Band anyway) Snoop Dogg - Rollin' down the street, smokin' SMOKIN'...sippin' on Gin 'n' Juice.
