Two Worlds expansion to tempt you in 2008

Sure, Two Worlds may not have the best reviews or consumer confidence right now, but that doesn't make it beyond salvation (just look at the now-awesome Boom Boom Rocket). An expansion for the game, dubbed The Temptation, is coming second quarter 2008.

According to WorthPlaying (pictures), Temptation has what you'd expect from an expansion: new areas, new baddies, new abilities and better AI. The real question is will Temptation tempt you to (re)visit Two Worlds next year?

i followed it for so long and it was such a disappointment. xbox online coop rpg was such a good idea. horrible implementation.

Just terrible. That was easily the worst game I've ever seen for the 360. I can't believe they even considered making an expansion unless they were going to rebuild it from the ground up.

I'm actually more shocked that they got the go for such thing with it being such an obvious screw up to anyone who played the game.

Bless Gamefly. If I had paid for this game outright, I don't think I ever could have forgiven myself. And if it had been a gift, I would never forgive the giver. What an utter disappointment.

Screw you all, Two Worlds rules!!!

It's so wonderfully amusing in a bad movie sort of way. The dialogue is so gloriously terrible, and the gameplay is downright hilarious.

After munching on some zombie thyroids (grants poison immunity for a few minutes) I mercilessly slaughtered hordes of necromancers (who only seem to have poison attacks). After doing this several times, I amassed quite a large amount of Poison Gas cards, so I equipped all of them together along with my Freeze card, which paralyzes enemies until I attack them.

So, I poison my enemies with poison cloud until their entire life bar is filled with poison, and then I freeze them and watch their life slowly drain away until the moment the sad little bastards clasp their hearts and all fall to their miserable deaths.

It's a virtually undefeatable combination. I've even slayed (slain?) dragons this way. Though dragons are sissies in this game, all you have to do is pound on the attack button constantly to beat them out of their attack animations.

Another goodie is when I was forced to slaughter an innocent girl who was asian, by her suspiciously italian-looking yet chinese-sounding father so I could proceed in the storyline. But no matter, after I came out of the dungeon the whole city was slaughtered! So I spent the next hour and a half looting the whole freaking village for all it was worth.

Oh, and did I mention that this game has GHOST SKELETONS! Seriously, GHOST SKELETONS! How is this even possible? Two Worlds doesn't care, it just throws out such useless things like "logic" and "sanity" straight out the window and hurls undead-undead creatures at you like GHOST-freaking-SKELETONS!

I cannot get over the ghost skeletons thing. That it is just the icing on the cake. Screw you all, Two Worlds rules!
