Harmonix confirms Rock Band for Canada Dec. 20

The announcement should hopefully lay to rest those rumors which pushed Rock Band's Canadian release into January. For Canadians near the border it's probably still a good idea to just take that recently empowered currency and purchase the package in the US. We reckon Dec. 20th is cutting it awfully close to the big day, especially if purchasing by mail.

Ah, good. EA finally fixed those guitar strumbar issues, probably. I know my third guitar replacement seems to work (so far).

I plan to get this at Walmart, since they're open 24 hours, but that may be even tougher. Anybody know how they are for release dates?

Wal Mart probably will have it...but they are pretty lame one release days...
i have mine preordered at EB...but am 12th on the list... :S
im going to get up early and hit every place in town

FutureShop still lists the software release date as the 22nd and the package with the instruments as the 28th. I guess there is no harm in showing up the morning of the 20th and looking, though I'm not a fan of mornings.

Just wanted to toss this out there: I work at Best Buy in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, and it's not even in transit yet. So most likely, Best Buys aren't going to have it for the 20th.

I live right beside the border, just 15 minutes away from niagara falls and WE STILL DONT HAVE ROCK BAND. I asked several stores and they stayed (wont have it till the 27th)
