The new ParentDish: helping raise kids of all ages

X3F Week in Review: June 27, 2008 - July 3, 2008

Well kids, it seems like everyone is holding their cards close to their collective chests as we begin the final run up to E3. That doesn't mean we don't have a few interesting news bits to share though. For one, the Xbox 360 Mega Man 9 evidence continues to pile up, despite Capcom's claims to the contrary. Gears of War 2 news also continues to dribble out, and we're more than happy to relate it to you. Find these stories and more below.

X3F Week in Review: June 13, 2008 - June 19, 2008

Believe it or not, the massive Intellisponse leak wasn't the only thing that happened in Xbox 360 this week. True, it was probably the most interesting and the other stories kind of pale in comparison but ... um ... you know we're not really sure where we're going with this. Just check out the links below to see what else we covered this week, mmkay?

X3F Week in Review: June 6, 2008 - June 12, 2008

After last week's video extravaganza, we return the Week in Review back to its normal, news-laden self. While there is plenty of worthwhile news contained in the links below, we implore you to watch the latest edition of XBLA in Brief. In short, Frogger 2 is one of the worst games (if not the worst) on the Xbox Live Arcade service. Watch the video, and be thankful that it will spare you the trouble (and immense pain) of actually downloading and playing the trial version.

X3F Week in Review -- May 30, 2008 - June 5, 2008

Videos, videos, videos. This week was apparently all about video features at X3F. With demos for Ninja Gaiden 2, NASCAR 09 and Crash Time, we had more impressions that we could shake a stick at. Add these to our regular stockpile of video features -- Community Content, XBLA in Brief, and Points>Life -- and you've got an audiovisual smorgasbord of delights. A smorgasbord, we say! Not only that but we have retrospectives on Ninja Gaiden and Tomonobu Itagaki. Simply amazing.

For your viewing pleasure, we've embedded our video impressions of Crash Time. After the glorious light that was the Ninja Gaiden 2 demo, Crash Time reminds us of the fetid depths of bargain bin gaming. Watch the video and then peruse the links below to cleanse your palette. Trust us, you'll need to.

X3F Week in Review: May 23, 2008 - May 28, 2008

The X3F Week in Review returns once again, chock-full of the latest news and community features (seriously, we checked our chock, and that sucker is full). We've hit our 70th Xbox 360 Fancast, which is pretty amazing. Even more amazing is the awesome Commander Shepard statue we're giving away this week. Perhaps even more awesome than that are the 100 codes for the Bad Company demo that we're giving away. Win a code now and play the demo a full week before it's available to the public. Find this and more in the links below.

We'd like to pretend that the number one thing that happened this week wasn't the 69th episode of the Xbox 360 Fancast, but we just can't. It's really the biggest thing to happen since we hit episode 050. Yes, we're puerile infants. We're comfortable with that. Oh, and we had plenty of features too, including our video look at Penny Arcade Adventures, a new edition of Points>Life, and a new piece of swag up for grabs. Dig through it all in the links below.

It's not every day that the ninja from the Ask a Ninja podcast shows up on your Xbox 360. Imagine our very pleasant surprise then, when he popped up on Xbox Live Marketplace a few days ago promoting Ninja Gaiden II (which he calls a "flippin' awesome game"). Find the second XBLM exclusive episode in the links below along with a truckload of Microsoft Spring Showcase coverage.

X3F Week in Review: May 2, 2008 - May 8, 2008

It seems like Xbox 360 Fanboy is right on the cusp of the oncoming storm of great entertainment. Sure, GTAIV is great, but with E3 right around the corner, news of the next wave of 360 titles is slowly trickling in. Below you will find links to the latest on Gears of War 2, Fable 2, and Ninja Gaiden II. We also take the Bourne Conspiracy demo for a spin in a video hands-on feature that you should definitely watch. Now, if someone would just release the Ninja Gaiden II demo we've been waiting for, we could do a video feature on that too.

It's time for the X3F Week in Review, kiddies. This week we've got yet another new batch of our recurring features. We suggest taking a look at the latest Community Content in particular, which features a Halo 3 map that has day and night cycles. Mix that with Ghost Town and the Infection game type and you have Dead City, one of the coolest maps we've featured so far. Find it along with all the past week's best content and news in the links below.

Again, a week packed with too many posts. We've got new editions of all the usual content, including a new episode in our achievement hunting series Points>Life. We've also got a heartfelt new episode of the Xbox 360 Fancast, in which our bloggers tell each other how they really feel (about achievements). There's a selection of great news too, especially for frugal gamers (and especially for UK gamers who are bummed about Rock Band's exorbitant price). Take a look at the links below and discover he meaning of joy.

X3F Week in Review: April 4, 2008 - April 10, 2008

Another busy week for Xbox 360 Fanboy has flown by, and thus we must do our best to condense it into this tiny post. As usual, we have a new Fancast and new episodes of X3F TV and all the news coverage you've come to expect (more than we can fit here, honestly). However, last week saw a new community game night that we're calling X3F Live. We played on a reader created Halo 3 recreation of Team Fortress's 2Fort. Check out the video above for more info. One of the links below also has a recap video of our game night's highlights.

In addition to the usual news (and some not so usual Too Human news), we've got a new Fancast, a new giveaway (Devil May Cry 4) and a new XBLA in Brief. Not only that, but we've got the first edition of a brand new video series Points>Life, in which we share strategies on scoring achievement points. Have a look.
