Okay, here's the deal. Remember Peekaboo Pole Dancing, the company which, back in May, confirmed its intent to make a pole dancing game for Wii? It still wants to – only according to MTV Multiplayer, it doesn't actually have anyone to make or publish the thing.
Peekaboo rep Simon Kay even went as far as to say, "Please feel free to give a shout out to any developers or publishers who want to give this a crack." So, who exactly should said shout be given out to? There's no guarantee that they'll listen – let alone actually say, "Hey, that's a great idea!" – but we'll be sure to deliver it the next time we speak to your top pick. Second and third place go to newcomer Town Folks by newcomer Brawl in the Family and Ball and Stick by personal favorite Digital Unrest, respectively. ... Wow, that was close. The last time we checked on the webcomic wrapup, XKCD's Theft of the Magi and CAD's Crossover were tied with 145 votes apiece. We decided to be somewhat Vice Presidential and cast the deciding vote ... to XKCD. Cheer up, CAD, you still got second place, and your prize is just as big as first place's (read: nada). Laughing about the race in third place is Red, the Color of Seduction (Indoor Heroes), who beat out The Truth is the New Lie (Penny Arcade) also by one vote. Weekly Webcomic Wrapup is Left 4 The Living
Manny here. Meche and I decided to go visit Stubbs in the city, ran into a few ne'er-do-wells harassing a quartet of the living. Far be it for me to get in the way of schoolyard play, but these half-living mobs -- they weren't even well dressed! -- were being big bullies. Savages these days.
I saw the four not-yet-departed heading toward a nearby theater, so I decided to leave them a shotgun and assault rifle. Hope that helps clear the crowds. I'm not in the travel business anymore, but I'm always for new neighbors in the Ninth. It raises the value of my condo.
Time to go, Stubbs is here and he's got tickets for the off-broadway performance of Nightmare Before Christmas.
